From Zurich to your kitchen.

FRiBA is more than a brand – it is a homage to our food culture, to sharing, to preparation and to all the small, honest moments in the kitchen.

It all started with a fabric bag I discovered at a small market in Thailand. The motif: a lovingly illustrated Pad Thai dish—colorful, playful, and full of life. I was instantly in love and took it home.
Over the next week, I was approached about it seven times. Strangers stopped, smiled, and asked questions.

That triggered something in me.
Why don’t we wear our own Swiss food culture just as proudly?
Where are our Zurich schnitzel pockets, our carrot cake prints, our fondue art?

That evening, I sat on Koh Lanta, overlooking the sunset, the sea, and the mountains on the horizon. I took out my sketchbook, wrote "Ghackets mit Hörnli" underneath, and began to draw.

Back in Zurich, the idea stuck with me. The initial sketches evolved into recipe cards, then carrier bags, and later our own silicone molds—inspired by my family, by cooking, by real memories.

This is how FRiBA was created:
A heartfelt project that combines design, culinary delights, and sustainability.
For everyone who not only enjoys food, but also lives it.
For people who remember smells, ingredients, and dishes like childhood stories.

FRiBA is a tribute to our favorite dishes—and the people we share them with. 💛
